Michigan Youth Basketball is excited to announce a fresh new look for its leagues with the introduction of updated jersey designs for the upcoming seasons—including highly anticipated WNBA-inspired jerseys for girls divisions.

After hearing consistent feedback from families and players, league officials are proud to bring WNBA-style jerseys to their girls-only divisions. The addition reflects the growing popularity of the women’s game and provides young athletes with new opportunities to represent and connect with the sport in a meaningful way.

“We’ve been listening to our community, and the excitement around WNBA jerseys has been incredible,” Matt Christensen shared. “We’re thrilled to now offer these designs and continue growing the game for our female athletes.”

In addition to the new girls division jerseys, Michigan Youth Basketball will also roll out all-new NBA jersey designs for coed and boys divisions. These updated styles aim to bring a modern and refreshed look to the league while maintaining the connection to the professional game that players love.

The expanded jersey selection is part of the organization’s ongoing effort to enhance the overall player experience—giving every participant something exciting to wear while representing their team on the court.

With new designs across all divisions, Michigan Youth Basketball continues to build an engaging, inclusive, and high-energy environment for athletes of all ages.

“This is about more than just jerseys—it’s about creating excitement and pride for our players every time they step on the court,” Matt Christensen added. “We can’t wait to see all of our teams in their new look this season.”

Michigan Youth Basketball has announced a new partnership with TeamSnap ONE, introducing an upgraded digital experience designed to simplify and enhance youth sports for families, players, and coaches. The partnership brings a variety of new features focused on improving communication and organization across the league. Families will benefit from next-generation team chat and a unified schedule view, allowing them to stay up to date with all team activities. Schedules are automatically synced to users’ preferred calendars, helping reduce confusion and missed events. A key addition to the platform is live streaming, which will be available as part of the TeamSnap+ upgrade. This feature enables families and fans to watch games from anywhere, ensuring that those unable to attend in person can still be part of the action. In addition, Michigan Youth Basketball participants will gain access to age-specific, at-home training resources at no extra cost. Developed in partnership with professional leagues, these drills are designed to help athletes continue their development outside of team practices. By combining communication, scheduling, optional live streaming, and built-in training content into one platform, TeamSnap ONE aims to eliminate many of the common challenges associated with managing youth sports.
